Canopy Cloud Appoints Adrian Hornsby as Chief Resilience Officer and Board Member

Canopy Cloud, an innovative cloud service broker startup, today announced the appointment of Adrian Hornsby as Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) and member of the Board of Directors. This strategic appointment makes Canopy one of the first companies in the cloud industry to elevate resilience to the C-suite and board level, signalling a fundamental shift in how cloud businesses approach system reliability and organisational adaptability.

"Building a cloud brokerage platform isn't just about connecting customers to services; it's about fostering trust through uncompromising resilience," said James Marks. "By appointing Adrian as our CRO and board member, we're making resilience a foundational element of our business strategy and governance structure, not just an engineering consideration."

Adrian brings extensive expertise in resilience engineering, having worked on resilience strategies across enterprise-scale distributed systems.

As a cloud service broker operating at the intersection of multiple providers and customers, Canopy recognises that resilience represents more than risk mitigation — it's a competitive advantage.

"Resilience isn't something you can buy, it's something that you continuously do and nurture,” said Adrian. "In the cloud brokerage space, where customers depend on us for mission-critical workloads across multiple providers, resilience isn't optional; it's essential to our value proposition."
